I cant answer for MDT on this but I will tell you that you will want the adjustable latch if you will be switching back and forth between the AW and AICS magazines because the height will be different! Jun 29, 2023. #5. I have both the XLR Element and MDT XRS. The XRS is kind of a hybrid between a stock and chassis so I like it a lot and it's relatively cheap. With the cheek rest down, a bore guide and cleaning rod clears easily. That's one of the reasons I like the XRS.

I have both the MDT XRS and a KRG Bravo, they’re about the same in terms of ergos and aesthetics, you can split hairs over some of the small differences but ultimately it’s a lateral move from one to the other.
With the B14R and KRG Bravo, I pushed the trigger guard forward more to take out the slack of the Bergara magazine and has performed OK. I still have issues with the rounds nose diving about 10% of the time. The MDT skeleton buttstock is more precise with its adjustments vs the KRG offerings. I prefer the temperature insensitive polymer of the KRG during the winter. I also don't care about beating it up as much as I did with the cerakoted aluminum and carbon fiber of the LSS and ESS.
