If i give it throttle very slowly, it will rev up and run good, but will not run with fast advance of throttle from idle. When I start the ATV I can engage the reverse first (R-light comes on) give it the gas but will not move. Start ATV engage forward first works fine, go to nutral fine, now it will not even engage to reverse.Put some carb cleaner. Also check the belt and his deflection and clean all this system with compressed air. Clean well the oil cooler rad. alright, so ive got a 1999 Kawasaki Prairie 400 4x4. I bought the quad about a week ago, everything worked great other than the fact it had no rear brakes.
