May 7, 2020 · Many experts say that the SKS has better accuracy than an AK-47. The SKS has a more rigid construction than the AK-47's loose tolerance. Because of the longer barrel, the SKS has a longer sight radius, and because of the less violent action, the SKS has a very slight advantage when it comes to accuracy.
The general consensus I got from reviews of it was that while it was good quality, it wasn't enough to bring the SKS up to the same level as an AR and therefore your money was better spent buying an AR. That was before the OIC of course... My guess is that most people that bought them were tinkers/ budget 3 gunners/tacticool kids or SKS ...
